 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. IGP WARNS POLICEMEN AGAINST EXTORTING,HARASSMENT OVER TINTED GLASS PERMIT+EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR RE-VALIDATION.

                        As the Nigeria Police High Command extends the deadline for revalidation of tinted glass permit and firearms licence to 31st July,2016,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E. Arase,fdc,NPM,has directed all State Commands Commissioners of Police to stay enforcement of law on tinted glass permit and firearms licence until the expiration of the deadline.The IGP,who restated that revalidation of tinted glass permit is free  of charge,warned Policemen against extortion and harassment of motorists over revalidating their permits and licences.He,therefore,urged members of the public who are yet to obtain the automated tinted glass permit and firearms licence to seize the opportunity of the extension to complete necessary formalities for them to key into the electronic platform.The IGP wishes to reassure the public of the commitment of the Force to the provision of round-the-clock security for the teeming citizens of the country.Citizens are further enjoined to continue to support and assist the Police in its constitutional task of safeguarding the nation-ACP Olabisi Kolawole,Force Public Relations Officer,Force Headquarters,Abuja.One more photo below.
