 NAF GETS FIRST-EVER SERVING PROFESSOR, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO R&D AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE In a landmark achievement for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and a major boost to its research and development (R&D) endeavours, the Governing Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike as Professor of Aerospace Engineering. This makes him the first-ever serving officer in the NAF to be conferred the rank of Professor. Air Vice Marshal Ubadike, an accomplished scholar and military professional, holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the esteemed Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also possesses 3 other Masters degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with a First-Class Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering degree from NDA. POLICE ARRESTED 13 SUSPECTED BIAFRAN PROTESTERS IN ENUGU,TODAY.

                13 suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB} were today monday arrested by the Nigerian police for alleged unlawful protest in Enugu.The Enugu Police spokesman,Mr Ebere Amaraizu disclosed that the suspects were arrested on Obiagu Road in Enugu,while commemorating  Biafran fallen heroes and heroines of the 1967-1970 civil war.He said they were apprehended with flags of Biafra.Amaraizu said the command had embarked on a surveillance of the state following reports of planned protests.He urged members of the public to resort any form of illegal assembles in their areas.One more photo below.
