 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. POLICE ARRESTED 13 SUSPECTED BIAFRAN PROTESTERS IN ENUGU,TODAY.

                13 suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB} were today monday arrested by the Nigerian police for alleged unlawful protest in Enugu.The Enugu Police spokesman,Mr Ebere Amaraizu disclosed that the suspects were arrested on Obiagu Road in Enugu,while commemorating  Biafran fallen heroes and heroines of the 1967-1970 civil war.He said they were apprehended with flags of Biafra.Amaraizu said the command had embarked on a surveillance of the state following reports of planned protests.He urged members of the public to resort any form of illegal assembles in their areas.One more photo below.
