 DSS arrests former Oyo PMS chairman, Auxiliary The Department of State Services has reportedly arrested Mukaila Lamidi, the embattled chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System, popularly known as Auxiliary. The Auxiliary was arrested at about 4:00 pm on Tuesday at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the state capital. Although the reasons for his arrest are still sketchy, a source who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity because of the weight of the matter said it was because of an interview he granted on Saturday, May 4, in which he called out Seye Famojuro, a trusted ally of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for being behind his woes. In the interview he granted to Media personnel, Ajibola Akinyefa, in the Yoruba Language, the former PMS chairman said, “If he (Famojuro) is the governor or Seyi Makinde is, we will know.                 According to sources,a man identified as Remi Adelaja has fled their Oshodi residence after he allegedly killed his elder brother,Mayowa Adelaja.The incident occurred at the wee hours of today sunday at No.6,Adelaja street,off Afariogun Oshodi in Lagos.It was gathered that the tragedy forced other residents to flee the compound before the police got to the scene at about 2am.According to sources,the decesed was looking for the torchlight and asked his younger brother but he claimed he knew nothing about it.''Their mother,Mrs Adelaja is a bread seller.The suspect brough his five children to his father's house after he lost his wife and since then,they have been staying together.Although the deceased has been complaining about it.But last night,the deceased was looking for torchlight and asked his younger brother who said he knew noothing about it.The issue later resulted to a quarrel because the two of them have been having problems.The next thinh they started fighting.The elder brother used iron rod to hit the younger one twice but the suspect ran inside,brought a knife and stabbed his older brother on the stomach.That was how he fell down and died on the spot.Everyone ran only his mother was left.Then,Mayowa's dogs surrounded him on the ground.The police came around 2am''.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
