 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.                                                       The National portrait Gallery of which the Duchess is a Patron,has collaborated with British Vogue on a series of photographic portraits,shot by photographer Josh Olins in the Norfolk countryside.Two of the photographic portraits of The Duchess will be available for public view in Vogue 100:A Century of style from Sunday May 1.The full portfolio shoot will feature in the June centenary issue of British Vogue,available on news stands and to download on Thursday 5 May.A spokesperson for the Duchess said ''Since 1916,Vogue has been a leading champion of British portraiture.The Duchess was delighted to play a part in celebrating the centenary of an institution that has given a platform to some of the most renowned photographers in this country's history.She is incredibly grateful to the team at Vogue and at the NPG for asking her to take part''.Two of the images from the British Vogue shoot were installed this evening in the National Portrait Gallery's Vogue 100:A Century of Style.The Duchess will visit the exhibition on wednesdy 4 May and see the two portraits on display in the gallery for the first time''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
