 U.S Finalizes $20,000 Visa Bond Policy Affecting Nigeria and 49 Other Nations The United States government has officially formalized its visa bond policy, making it a permanent measure that could require travelers from 50 designated countries, including Nigeria, to pay a refundable bond of up to $20,000 before receiving certain visas. First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism. According to the U.S. Department of State, the initiative is designed to bolster compliance with local immigration laws and drastically reduce visa overstay rates. THE WIFE OF A POPULAR COMEDIAN,WAS KIDNAPPED FROM THEIR HOUSE YESTERDAY IN RIVERS STATE.

                        Gunmen yesterday sunday abducted the wife of a popular Comedian cum politician,Mr Mike Ogbolosingha,in Port Harcourt,Rivers State.The Ogbolosinghas hail from Bayelsa but are residing in Eliparanwon area of Port Harcourt.Speaking today monday,the popular stand-up comedian,told reporters that the gunmen stormed their Eliparanwon residence yesterday sunday and abducted his wife,Mrs Chime Mike Ogbolosingha.He said the kidnappers who were about six in number also went away with valuable items from the house.He said the kidnappers have not established contact with him or any member of his family.While pleading with the abductors to release his wife unconditionally,Ogbolosingha said he has alerted the police of the incident.One more photo below.
