  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. 3 'AWAWAA BOYS' WERE ARRESTED BY THE LAGOS TASK FORCE YESTERDAY AT DOPEMU,AGEGE.{PHOTOS}.

             The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force arrested a notorious 'Awawaa Boys'' deadly leader Tobi Akinbayo aka Scorpion and and two others,Muyideen Olayinka and Ibrahim Olaniran at Aluminium village,Dopemu,Agege,Lagos State.Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force,SP Olayinka Egbeyemi while parading the three suspects today confirmed that activities of these notorious 'Awawaa Boys' has been giving the Agency and other State Security Services sleepless nights,adding that reported cases of rape,armed robbery and killing of innocent citizens by these notorious gang has become worrysome.SP Egbeyemi also disclosed that the Agency received many petitions about the nefarious activities of the gang resulting in close monitoring of the gang activities in different parts of the State by the surveillance unit of the Agency which led to their arrest at the Aluminium village,Dopemu,Agege.He confirmed that other terrorising groups leaders at large include aka Bouncing,leader of ''Nokia Group' and Habeeb aka Oluwa of 'Shita Boys'' wanted for killing,raping and robbing of innocent citizens of their valuables and properties,he therefore appealed to members of the public to be vigilant about their immediate environment and to always report activities of any terrorising group to the Task Force.Tobi Akinbayo who lives at 10,Salako street,Aluminium village,Dopemu confessed that he and his gang boys raped,burgled and killed innocent citizens who confronted them during any of the operation,''we also sell Indian helm to commercial bus drivers and area boys around Dopemu and it's environs he said.The arrested Tobi Akinbayo,a 28 year old native of Kuta-Ilegbo,Abeokuta,Ogun state said that his gang is under a single umbrella with branches in different parts of the state.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
