Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. According to sources,the children of Boxing star Mohammed Ali have rushed to be at his bedside as doctors treating the former heavy-weigh champion have told them they fear he ''Is near the end''.Already four of the 74 year old's nine children,including daughter Laila,Hana and Maryum,are at the hospital in the Phoenix area where medics continue to fight a breathing problem picked up by the star.The childremn flew in last night from around the US as doctors said the future survival of Mohammed Ali was ''Uncertain.Although there was discussions about transporting him to another area of the hospital,sources claimed doctors decided the move ''potentially could be deadly'' and the transfer was called off.Sources close to the star say Ali's battle with his respiratory problem has been complicated by the Parkinson's that he was diagnosed with in the 1980s.More photos below.
