 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. COURT REMANDS NENADI USMAN,FANI KAYODE IN PRISON TODAY+ADJOURN THEIR CASE TO FRIDAY.{PHOTOS}.

                        The EFCC today tuesday June 28,2016 arraigned Nenadi Ester Usman,a former Minister of Finnance and Director of Finance PDP Presidential Campaign Organization in the last general election;Femi Fani-Kayode also a former Minister and Director /Media/Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization,Danjuma Yusuf and Jointrust Dimentions Nigeria Limited before Justice ,M.S Hassan of the Federal High Court Lagos,on a 17 count charge bordering on conspiracy,stealing and illegally disturbed about N4.9 billion Naira belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria for political and personal uses.The defendants pleaded not guilty to all the charges preferred against them.The Judge however,ordered that the defendants be remanded in prison custody and adjourned to Friday,July 1,2016 for hearing of bail applications.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her. Namtira said if the school authorities fail to sanction the student bullies within 48 hours of the receipt of the letter, she would seek immediate and severe legal redress against the school.
