Troops Rescue 10 Kidnap Victims, Recover Weapons, Cash In Kaduna Troops of Sector 5 under Operation Peace Shield have rescued 10 kidnapped victims and recovered arms, ammunition and ransom money in a successful operation in Kaduna State. The rescue followed the abduction of several women from their farms in Ungwan Nungu, Sanga Local Government Area, on 29 November 2025. Security forces launched an immediate search-and-rescue mission to track the kidnappers. According to military authorities, the breakthrough came at about 6:40 a.m. on 5 December 2025, when troops intercepted the kidnappers during an attempted ransom collection. The armed group reportedly came under heavy fire, forcing them to flee into the surrounding forest and abandon the hostages. Today monday,it was reported that Donald Trump fired Corey Lewandowski,the campaign manager who helped him win the Republican Party's presidential nominating contests but has clashed with other advisers about how to appeal to the broader general electorate.Lewandowski was often at odds with Paul Manafort,a prominent strategist Trump hired in April partly for having experience on presidential campaigns that Lewandowski lacked,according to people close to the campaign.Manafort will take over as campaign manager,according to Carl Paladino,the co-chairman of the campaign's operations in New York state.Lewandowski had been a near-constant presence at Trump's side since the campaign was launched last year.He did not immediately respond to a request for comment,but in a brief statement read on CNN,Lewandowski said ''I stand by the fact that Mr Trump is a great candidate and is better than Hillary Clinton ever will be''.More photos below.
