 PRESS RELEASE MINISTER OF INFORMATION LEADS HEADS OF AGENCIES TO BROADCASTERS CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS In an effort to strengthen broadcast collaborations and form strategic alliances, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris fnipr, has led a delegation of heads of government agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA. The NAB event, running from April 5 to 9, carries the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will cover a range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming. EFCC ARRAIGNS A WOMAN FOR N1.04 MILLION FRAUD IN IMO STATE.{PHOTO}.

               The EFCC,on June 13,2016 arraigned Etoh Oluwabukola {aka Mobolaji Johnson} before Justice Lewis Allagoa of the Federal High Court Owerri,Imo State,on an eight-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N1,044,000 {One Million and Forty-four Thousand Naira}.Oluwabukola belongs to a syndicate of fraudsters that operated seven different accountd with different banks,using fictitious names,and non-existent addresses,with the sole aim of using the said accounts to conceal their fraudulent activities.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
