 NAMA Conducts Flight Validation at Ogun’s Gateway Agro-Cargo Airport Officials from the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) carried out flight checks and procedure validation yesterday at the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport in Ogun State, marking a major step toward the commencement of commercial flight operations. Governor Dapo Abiodun welcomed the development and commended the NAMA team, led by Engr. Miri Selzing, for their professionalism and encouraging remarks about the airport’s infrastructure—including its 4-kilometre runway, the longest in Nigeria, and its well-equipped terminal building. The Governor noted NAMA’s recommendations on the installation of additional navigational aids such as the Instrument Landing System (ILS), and described the agency’s ongoing support as a reflection of strong collaboration between Ogun State and federal aviation stakeholders. NIGERIAN ARMY,AMBUSHED & KILLED SOME BANDITS IN KUBAU KADUNA TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

                                                         Troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army involved in Operation SHARAN DAJI,along with other security agencies,today ambushed suspected armed bandits that wreck havoc on some communities in Kubau Local Government Area,Kaduna State.At the ambush the troops were able to kill 3 notorious armed bandits,recovered 3 Locally Made Pistols,1 Dane Gun 1 J5 Bus with registration number KMC 33 YE KANO and a Driving License.Similarly,today also the troops conducted a clearing operation around Kurmin Dande in Chikun Local Governmnt Area of Kaduna State,During the clearance,they arrested 1 suspected cattle rustler who is undergoing interrogation.The troops have also intensified patrols at Madachi general are in Katsina state.In addition,they have been meeting with heads of the local vigilantes within the 10 Local Government Areas in the State where cattle rustling and armed banditry seems prevalent in order to synergize efforts.-Colonel Sani Kuukasheku Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.More photos below.
