 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth.                  Pastor Kumuyi of Deeper Life Bible Church,who visited Warri for one day programme tagged ''Following a Life Transforming Example'',said the situation in the volatile oil-rich region should not be a win win affairs''.During the programme which was organised by the Deeper Life Bible Church at the Warri township stadium,Kumuyi said ''The solution to the crisis in the Niger Delta is dialogue.Stakeholders should reason together and see a way forward instead of accusing each other.What we are interested in is how to solve the problem;what are the expectations of both sides so that we can move forward.President Buhari has another three years in office,sometimes it depends on somebody's approach,so let us not build the evaluation on his one year in office.Nigerians believe we could have achieved something better than where we are presently as a country.I do hope we are not going to remain in our present position' we want to move forward as a nation and that is what people are saying.I join our people to say the economy is sliding,but i know that our country is going to move forward from where we are now with prayers and with us being responsible''.One more photo below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
