 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.                    Acting President Yemi Osinbajo disclosed this information today thursday that the President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his medical vacation by five days and will be back to the country on sunday.While addressing State House Correspondents he said ''Buhari will resume in his office on monday morning.The President will be back on sunday.I spoke with him yesterday evening and i think it is just the best that he takes the weekend off.He will certainly be back on sunday.I think the most straight forward thing is when he will be back.He will be back on sunday.There is no point rushing back on friday or something like that.He will just take the weekend off and be back on sunday.He is in perfect health and ready to resume work on monday morning.Mr President is in good condition he is fine,he is very well.He should take a day or two off in London and rest a bit and come back hale and hearty o sunday and be ready for work on monday.So we expect him back on sunday''.More photos below.
