 Sexual harassment allegation: Akpabio, Senate dodging – Ezekwesili Former Education Minister Oby Ezekwesili has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of avoiding opportunities that could clear him of the sexual harassment allegations made against him by suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. Ezekwesili stated that Akpabio and the Senate have consistently denied Natasha her right to a fair hearing and an unbiased investigation. The suspended Senator from Kogi Central has alleged that Akpabio sexually harassed her, claiming that he withheld certain privileges after she rejected his advances, even in front of her husband. Ezekwesili expressed her confusion over why Akpabio is hindering every chance for an impartial Senate inquiry into the allegations against him. THE MOVIE ''SARAFINA'' IS BEING SHOWN FOR FREE TODAY IN ALL CINEMAS IN SOUTH AFRICA,TO MARK 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF UPRISING.{PHOTOS}.

                   According to sources,cinemas across South Africa will be screening 'Sarafina' free of charge today thursday 16th June as South Africa marks the 40 th year of the Soweto uprising on the day of the youth.The moving story that has been watched by millions of Africans is based on the Soweto uprising of 16th June 1976.Local television channels have also slated different times to show the classical movie.In a statement,producer Anant Sing said ''Sarafina! Has been an inspiration to me,firstly in getting the film made,and then being inspired by how it was embraced by the people of South Africa and the rest off the world''.Sarafina is played by Leleti Khumalo and her inspiring teacher is played by Whoopi Goldberg.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
