 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.                                  The Nigeria Police has Premiered its first Television series entitled ''Beyond Your Sight'' on the 7th June,2016 at International Conference Center,Abuja.The TV series was produced and directed by Award winning movie producer Lancelot Odua Imasuen and it featured household brands like Segun Arinze and Desmond Elliot.The Nigeria Police under the leadership of IGP Arase has aligned policing in our country to best international practices where TV series highlighting exploits of the Police and criminal activities are utilized to strengthen internal security.In this instance,reference is made to global Police and TV series like 'Law and Order'',NYPD Blue',CSI in USA; and ''The Bill' in the UK.The objective of this TV series is not only to showcase the achievement of the Nigeria Police Force but also a confidence building technique that will encourage Nigerians to have faith in their own Police Force and it is also to educate the policemen and women on how to better relate and partner with the police,hence projecting that popular parlance ''Police is Your Friend and Partner''.The police further said ''Watch out for BEYOND YOUR SIGHT'' on our TV Stations across the Nation''.
