Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said. Atiku, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, said Nigerians were entitled to demand answers from the APC-led government over rising living costs, poverty, insecurity and questions surrounding public expenditure.                       He made this statement yesterday sunday during a church service.He said ''There are those who are telling you to remove me and vote for them but people are able to judge who is a good leader.The economy is getting better,the rains came and we now have enough food.Those who were laughing at us have now seen that God works in miraculous ways.God is wonderful''.He further asked the church to take advantage of the huge crowds he had attracted to preach to them the word of Christ.President Edgar Lungu was in company of his wife Esther Lungu and some high ranking government officials.Zambia will hold general elections in August 2016 but my question is that was he not putting God first before these election date?.One more photo below.
