 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East.                       He made this statement yesterday sunday during a church service.He said ''There are those who are telling you to remove me and vote for them but people are able to judge who is a good leader.The economy is getting better,the rains came and we now have enough food.Those who were laughing at us have now seen that God works in miraculous ways.God is wonderful''.He further asked the church to take advantage of the huge crowds he had attracted to preach to them the word of Christ.President Edgar Lungu was in company of his wife Esther Lungu and some high ranking government officials.Zambia will hold general elections in August 2016 but my question is that was he not putting God first before these election date?.One more photo below.
