 Abusing Tinubu is not a career – Joe Igbokwe taunts Sowore A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has mocked activist and presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, who on Monday, June 22, was remanded in Kuje prison by an Abuja High Court over his alleged refusal to appear in court in the ongoing trial regarding a remark he made on his social media handles about President Bola Tinubu. Reacting to the remand order, Igbokwe expressed support for the judgment, stating that abusing Tinubu “is not a career.” “Nigeria is not a lawless country. Sowore has taken the law into his hands for years now. Protests on the streets, disturbing public peace, abusing law enforcement officers, encouraging killers in the South East, abusing PBAT, these are not a career.”

A PASTOR & 1 OTHER MAN,WERE SENTENCED TO 14 YEARS IMPRISONMENT YESTERDAY IN GOMBE FOR OBTAINING BY FALSE PRETENCE.{PHOTOS}.

                          The EFCC on 11th July 2016,secured the conviction of Pastor Emmanuel Markus Anga and Atin Victor Generous before Justice Abubakar Jauro of Gombe State High Court on two count bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretense.Justice Jauro convicted and sentence the convicts to seven years imprisonment on count one {conspiracy},the sentence are to run-concurrently,and also convicted and sentence Generous to another seven years in count two {Obtaining by false pretense},the sentence are to commence on 11th July,2016.Anga and Generous are alleged to have in November 203,deceived David Madison,into believing that they were employees of foreign exchange business,Gora Commanding Resources,which they claimed belonged to Philemon Gora,who is still at large.Madison was lured into believing that his investment of five hundred thousand {N500,000.00} would yield him ten percent {10%} interest as returns on a monthly basis.He however discovered later that the 10% on his capital reflected on his account only in the first month of his investment.While all the effort to recover his money proved abortive.While delivering his judgment,Justice Jauro,ordered Generous to restitute five hundred thousand naira,N500,000.00 to the victim.One more photo below.
