 Army sergeant’s wife deported to Honduras amid Trump administration’s immigration crackdown on military families The wife of an Army sergeant and mother of a 6-year-old was deported to Honduras Monday, as the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown increasingly affects spouses and parents of active-duty military personnel. Army Sgt. Hedar Leonel Turcios Juarez confirmed that his wife, Cristy Maryori Villafranca Trejo, had been deported. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Villafranca outside a Walmart in July while the couple’s young daughter was present, according to her husband. Villafranca had left Honduras in 2016 because of violence, he said. Turcios Juarez came to the United States from Honduras in 2014 for similar reasons. After attending high school in the U.S., he joined the Army and became a U.S. citizen in 2024 following a nine-month deployment to the Middle East. EFCC ARRAIGNS A CONTRACTOR TODAY IN ABUJA,FOR N2.4 BILLION 'ONSA' CONTRACT SCAM.{PHOTOS].

                 The EFCC today friday,July 15,2016 arraigned one Olugbenga Obadina alongside his company,Almond Projects Limited,before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama,Abuja on an eight-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust,corruption and money laundering to the tune of N2.4billion.Obadina allegedly collected a sum of N2,417,000,000.00 {two billion,four hundred and seventeen million naira},paid into his company's account in tranches,between 2014 and 2015 from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,under Col. Sambo Dasuki {Rtd} without contract award.The offence is contrary to Section 15 {2}, {d} of the money laundering {prohibition} Act 2011 as amended in 2012 and punishable under Section 15 {3} of the same Act.Justice Dimgba,after argument by both the defence and prosecution counsels,adjourned to July 18,2016 for ruling on the bail application and ordered the accused person to be remanded in Kuje prison custody.More photos below.
