 Walton, Kentucky- 2 elderly women lose their lives and another individual is critically injured in a crash that caused a dump truck to crash through restaurant.  While diners were enjoying a meal at Boondocks Pub on Tuesday, April 8th, a tragic incident occurred shattering the peaceful scene. At around 4:30 p.m. an SUV pulled out in front of a fully loaded dump truck. The driver of the dump truck attempted to brake and steer clear of the SUV but they were not able to avoid a collision. The SUV was struck by the dump truck and the impact caused the SUV to cross the southbound lane where it struck a guardrail and flipped before coming to rest on its top. Sadly the crash took the lives of 91-year-old Eva Mulberry and 89-year-old Betty Holland. A 66-year-old woman who was in the SUV was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. EFCC ARRAIGNS A CONTRACTOR TODAY IN ABUJA,FOR N2.4 BILLION 'ONSA' CONTRACT SCAM.{PHOTOS].

                 The EFCC today friday,July 15,2016 arraigned one Olugbenga Obadina alongside his company,Almond Projects Limited,before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama,Abuja on an eight-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust,corruption and money laundering to the tune of N2.4billion.Obadina allegedly collected a sum of N2,417,000,000.00 {two billion,four hundred and seventeen million naira},paid into his company's account in tranches,between 2014 and 2015 from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,under Col. Sambo Dasuki {Rtd} without contract award.The offence is contrary to Section 15 {2}, {d} of the money laundering {prohibition} Act 2011 as amended in 2012 and punishable under Section 15 {3} of the same Act.Justice Dimgba,after argument by both the defence and prosecution counsels,adjourned to July 18,2016 for ruling on the bail application and ordered the accused person to be remanded in Kuje prison custody.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
