 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. EFCC ARRAIGNS A CONTRACTOR TODAY IN ABUJA,FOR N2.4 BILLION 'ONSA' CONTRACT SCAM.{PHOTOS].

                 The EFCC today friday,July 15,2016 arraigned one Olugbenga Obadina alongside his company,Almond Projects Limited,before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama,Abuja on an eight-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust,corruption and money laundering to the tune of N2.4billion.Obadina allegedly collected a sum of N2,417,000,000.00 {two billion,four hundred and seventeen million naira},paid into his company's account in tranches,between 2014 and 2015 from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,under Col. Sambo Dasuki {Rtd} without contract award.The offence is contrary to Section 15 {2}, {d} of the money laundering {prohibition} Act 2011 as amended in 2012 and punishable under Section 15 {3} of the same Act.Justice Dimgba,after argument by both the defence and prosecution counsels,adjourned to July 18,2016 for ruling on the bail application and ordered the accused person to be remanded in Kuje prison custody.More photos below.
