 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower.                             According to CCTV,former Burundi's East African Community {EAC} Minister Hon Hafsa Mossi was shot dead by unknown assailants today wednesday morning outside her home in Eastern Mutanga in Bujumbura.A close relative said ''She was near her home and a tinted car knocked her from behind,she went out to see what happened and was shot twice''.Ms Mossi played a crucial role in Burundi's integration into the EAC and was the current chair of the East African Legislative Assembly Burundi chapter.Mossi is the first Burundi East African Community minister and had been conducting sensitization workshops with the East African Legislative Assembly {EALA} Burundi chapter with different stakeholders at the grassroots level on the benefits of the East African Integration to Burundi.Mossi's killing is part of targeted killings of top government officers by unknown armed groups in the East African nation.Over 500 people have been killed and thousands have fled the civil war in Burundi since it began a year ago.May her soul rest in peace,Amen.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
