“We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. The patrol team of 157 Task Force Battalion,7 Brigade,yesterday monday ambushed and killed a Boko Haram terrorists spy at Barwati village,Kukawa Local Government Area.The insurgent who was on reconnaissance mission to infiltrate the troops position,was killed while trying to gain entry into military location.The team recovered 1 AK-47 rifle,59 rounds of 7.62mm {Special} ammunition,one 40mm x 46mm BGL2 grenade,1 bandolier and 3 AK-47 rifle magazines from him.Troops have intensified vigilance and high level of alertness as they continued with efforts of clearing the remnants of Boko Haram terrorist in their Area of Responsibility.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relation.
