 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. PARALYMPIAN 'OSCAR PISTORUS',WAS SENTENCED TO 6 YEARS IN PRISON TODAY.

                           The news i just received is that South African Paralympian Oscar Pistorus has today wednesday been sentenced to six years in prison for the 2013 murder of his girlfriend Reeva Stenkamp.The state and a large section of the public had called for the 29 year old to be handed no less than the minimum 15 year term as prescribed by the law,saying he had shown no remorse for the killing.The athlete was found guilty of murdering Steenkamp by an appeals court last December.He has initially received a five year sentence for manslaughter in 2014,a ruling dismissed by women's groups as too lenient.Though after today's sentence alot of people went on social media and started saying that Oscar Pistorus deserves more than 6 years.One more photo below.
