 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. The engagement with the State Government focused on strengthening institutional collaboration in support of ongoing policing reforms anchored on professionalism, accountability, and intelligence-led operations.  The Inspector-General of Police reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to building a modern, service-driven institution that prioritizes public trust and operational efficiency. PRESS RELEASE:IGP VISITS DELTA STATE,CONDUCT ON THE SPOT ASSESSMENT & AERIAL SURVEILLANCE OF CREEKS IN DELTA STATE.

                 The Inspector General of Poice,Ag.IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM,mni,on 1st2016 conducted on the spot assessment and evaluation of security situation in some flash points in the creeks of Delta State.In recent times,some riverine communities in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria witnessed renewed militancy occasioned by pipeline and oil installations vandazation,there causing environmental and security challenges.During a ciurtesy call on the Governor of Delta State,Senator Ifeanyi Okowa,IGP Idris said that one of the strategies to tackle crimes in the country will be the formation of Eminent Persons Forum in collaboration with State Governments and various communities.The Eminent Persons Forum will be engaged in conflict resolution arbitration.The Governor congratulated the IGP in the task of crime management.The IGP who was accompanied on the visit by the Commissioner of Police in charge Police Mobile Force,Commissioner of Police in charge Border Patrol,Heads of Operational and Tactical Teams as well as the Commissioner of Police,Delta State conducted aerial surveillance/patrol of some riverine communities,which include Ugborodo,Madawo,Oparaza and Camp Five.IGP Idris held interactive session with elders,youths and members of Ugborodo and Oparaza communities,admonishing them to be law abiding and cooperate with law enforcement agencies by exposing criminal element in their communities.He assured the communities that the Police under his leadership will engage every community in accordance with international core values of policing with integrity,respect diversity,operate within the principles of democratic policing and cultivate the culture of professionalism.The Community Leaders assured the IGP of their unalloyed support,cooperation and active partnership.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
