 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.                  It was reputed today that Nigerian troops returning from Bama on humanitarian escort duty,were ambushed enroute Maiduguri by suspected remnants of Boko Haram terrorists hiding in Meleri village,a few kilometres from Kawuri.The gallant troops however,successfully cleared the ambush and exploited up to Afunori.Unfortunately,2 soldiers and 3 civilians were wounded in the ambush,among whom were staff of the United Nations agencies and other international humanitarian organizations.The wounded have been evacuated to University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital,Maiduguri and they are in stable condition.The Nigerian Army wishes to sympathize with wounded colleagues,the united nations and other Non-governmental organizations whose personel were also injured in this sad incident.We wish to reiterate our determination and commitment of ensuring safety and security in the North East and safeguarding the lives of all persons.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
