 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 19 YEARS AFTER,AFRO-BEAT MUSICIAN ''FELA'' IS REMEMBERED TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

                Today the 2nd of August 2016,made it 19 years {2nd August 1997} Afro Beat Nigerian Musician Fela,passed away.I remembered that day when it was announced that he died,i was still in  secondary and alot of his music was played on the streets,and a lot of people had so much to say about him.Though it was said he died of HIV,but he was well respected in Nigeria for his bravery in challenging most of the military government,in an era that was very dangerous to challenge the government.He sang and everybody listened.His first son Femi Kuti,said in his 2011 interview with the Nigeria Today that ''Yes he was a great man.He is the kind of person you meet and in the few minutes you spend with him,you learn so much.You become very African conscious,you will want to know more about your people,and you'll appreciate the culture.He had that kind of aura,this African thing about him that would surely make you proud''.More photos below.
