 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.                  Dapo Oyebanjo,popularly known as D'banj,on wednesday,visited the ongoing Summer Camp at the Model School,Ewekoro,OgunState.D'banj,who is also a songwriter,harmonica player and entrepreneur,seized the opportunity to not only interact with and entertain the children,but also give them talks on the pains behind the Fame that he enjoys.D'banj advised the children on the need to focus on the their education and be the best of whatever profession they may choose in life.Apart from D'banj,the children were also visited by likes of film maker,Mr Tunde Kelani and popular actress,Kate Henshaw,among others.The wife of the Governor of Ogun State,Mrs Olufunso Amosun,yesterday friday 19th of August,2016 visited the ongoung Summer Camp at the Model Scholl,Ewekoro,Ogun State.She seized the opportunity to interact and educate the children on of importance of green environmentThe State Governor,Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State welcoming the first ever summer campers of the Ogun State Model College,Ewekoro to a banquet at the Government House,Oke-Igbehin Abeokuta,today.More photos below.
