 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.                  The Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwun,i Ambode has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries and Tutor General in the State Public Service in furtherance of his administration's commitment towards strengthening the State Public Service for improvements in public service delivery.A statement issued on Monday by the Office of the State Head of Service,Mrs Olabowale Ademola listed the new Permanent Secretaries as Mrs Florence Ebunoluwa Oluwasuji who is now the Permanent Secretary/Tutor General,Education District V; Dr. Shamsideen Olalekan Allison,Permanent Secretary,Lagos State Primary Health Care Board {PHCB}; Engr Saliu Abidemi Adeyemi who takes over as the Permanent Secretary,Ministry of the Environment; Mr Senayon Adeola Hundeyin,Permanent Secretary,Ministry of Home Affairs and Mrs Yetunde Adefolahan Odejayi,Permanent Secretary,Deputy Governor's Office.Ademola wished the new Permanent Secretaries a rewarding and impactful tenure and also enjoined all Public Servants to accord them the deserved recognition and support required in their new responsibilities.The statement noted further that the appointments are with immediate effect.
