 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings. HAJJ 2016: LAGOS BEGINS AIRLIFT OF PILGRIMS FROM AUGUST 16.

                    Lagos State Government has announce that intending pilgrims for the Y2016 pilgrimage in the Kinddom of Saudi Arabia will be airlifted from Lagos as scheduled by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria {NAHCON} on August 16,17 and 18 respectively.The State's Amir Hajj and Commissioner for Home Affairs,Dr AbdulHakeem AbduLateef made the disclosure in Alausa during a stakeholders meeting with the staff of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board,adding that intending pilgrims would be notified of their traveling dates by their coordinators through text messages.While reminding the pilgrims to stay away from all items prohibited and banned by the Saudi Arabian Government,AbdulLateef warned that the State Government will not tolerate any act of lawlessness and disobedience that may tarnish the image of Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general.He charged them to be good representatives of the State as well as be patient with their assigned coordinators and pilgrim officials on specified duties in order to ensure a hitch-free hajj operation,saying that '' No one is perfect; these representatives are human beings and could make mistakes sometimes,please bear with them and forgive them,only Allah is perfect''.One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
