 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.                       45 year old HIV Malawi ritualist,who is facing trial for having sex with more than 100 young girls as part of initiation rites into womanhood,was yesterday friday denied bail by a Malawi court.Magistrate Anderson Masanjala denied Eric Aniva bail saying ''It is wise for Aniva to remain on remand so that police can finish their investigation''.Eric Aniva appeared before a packed courtroom without a lawyer,because he could not afford one.If found guilty he could be jailed for life if found guilty of underage sex.Aniva,who is from Malaw's southern district Nsanje,is one of the men known as ''hyenas' who are paid to have sex with young girls after their first menstruation.He is said to have slept with at least 104 women,some girls as young as 12 years old.The ritual lassts three days.Eric Anival was arrested last month after he revealed that families paid him between $4 and $7 to have sexual intercourse with their children in a traditional custom meant to prepare the girls to become good wives.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
