 ASUU–ABSU SUSPENDS THREE-WEEK-OLD INDEFINITE STRIKE The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Abia State University Branch, wishes to inform the University community, all stakeholders and the general public that, following the resolution of Congress held today, Friday, 28th August, 2026, the Branch has suspended its three-week-old comprehensive industrial action with immediate effect. The decision of Congress followed a careful assessment of developments since the commencement of the strike and, particularly, the concrete steps taken towards addressing some of the major issues that necessitated the industrial action. Foremost among these is the full implementation of the 2025 FGN–ASUU salary structure, including the Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA), which has now been reflected in the August 2026 salaries of academic staff of Abia State University.                                               Roshanara Ebrahim,Kenya's Miss World,has been stripped off her title and will not represent the country in the coming Miss World event.A Press release signed by the Miss World Kenya franchise holder and Ashleys CEO Terry Mungai read in part that ''A grave situation has come to our attention that is in breach of our code of conduct and our contract with the reigning  Miss World Kenya 2016 Roshanara.We uphold a strict code of conduct that expects beauty queens to manage their public and private life''.Then Roshanara after getting the news said ''It is with great sadness that i accept the decision of Miss World Kenya to relinquish me of my duties as Miss World Kenya 2016.I urge aspiring beauty queens to ensure their personal life does not affect their role as Miss World Kenya.I wish my successor the best as we look to clinching top position in the Miss World competition later in the year''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
