 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. NIGERIA FOOTBALL TEAM AT THE OLYMPICS BOYCOTTED A TRAINING SESSION YESTERDAY,OVER PAYMENT DISPUTE.

                 According to sources,the Nigeria football players at the 2016 Olympics have boycotted a training session in the build-up to their Olympic quarter final game against Denmark in a dispute over pay.The players refused to participate in training yesterday thursday until the Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} and Nigeria Olympic Committee {NOC} officials paid them outstanding bonuses and allowances from camping and previous games.The latest incident comes after the players were held up in Atlanta because of a problem with payment for their flight.The team arrived in Brazil just hours before their opening game against Japan.One more photo below.
