 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. ORGANISERS OF FESTIVAL OF INDIA,DEMANDS FOR THEIR N7M FROM DAVIDO,FOR NOT PERFORMING.

                            23 year old David Adeleke popularly known as ''Davido'',who was advertised to be among the artistes to perform at the Festival of India,which took place in Lagos last saturday,was conspicuously absent and his absence did not go down well with some guests who obviously wanted to see him in action.The organisers confirmed that Davido was indeed invited and the chief organiser,Rosiji,also confirmed this.The concert organizer says Davido was paid the sum of N7 million to perform but informed them on friday night,just a day to the event that he was indisposed..Yesterday,the show's organisers reached out to his lawyers in hopes of getting a refund for the fee said to have been paid.So far,Davido or his managers are yet to respond to queries by journalists.One more photo below.
