 Italy-bound bizman intercepted with cocaine consignments in shoe soles, bag railings    As NDLEA foils N5bn Loud, Codeine shipments at Lagos, Onne Ports; destroys 20,000kg skunk in Osun forest; recovers meth, opioids in Bauchi, Kogi, Edo, Plateau raids; nabs fugitive six years after jumping court bail.   Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted a Milan-bound businessman, Philip Tunde, with 4.80 kilograms of cocaine concealed in the soles of shoes and the railings of travel bags at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja Lagos. The 38-year-old suspect was arrested on Sunday 27th September 2026 at the joint screening point, Terminal 2 of the Lagos airport ahead of his Royal Air Maroc flight to Milan, Italy. A thorough search by NDLEA operatives led to the recovery of l6 parcels of white powdery substance hidden in the soles of eight pairs of trainers and canvas shoes, plus 195 wraps of same substance conceal...

SOUTH AFRICAN BABY SNATCHER SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN PRISON TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

                    According to Reuters,a South African woman was found guilty of kidnapping a newly born baby,was given a 10 year prison sentence today monday,almost two decades after she snatched the child from her biological mother's bedside.The 51 year old woman,who cannot be named to protect the identity she gave to baby ''Zephany Nurse'',was arrested in 2015 after suspicions were raised when pupils at her school remarked on her close resemblance to another girl.DNA tests carried out by police then proved that the two girls were sisters,ending 19 years of uncertainty for biological parents,Celeste and Morne Nurse.Prosecutors wanted the Cape High Court to impose a 15-year sentencee on the accused.She was found guilty of kidnapping,fraud and contravening the Children's Act.Eric Ntabazalila,a regional spokesman for the National Prosecuting Authority,said ''I can confirm that the accused in this case has been sentenced to 10 years direct imprisonment.We are happy with that sentence''.The picture above is the biological mother of the twin children.More photos below.
