 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Image result for nigeria police logo                             The spokesman for the command,Mr Ebere Amaraizu,disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria {NANA} that locally made guns and two short axes were recovered from the bandits.Mr Amaraizu said tthat amongst other items recovered were TV sets,DVDs,standing fans,six mobile phones,all of which are suspected to have been stolen from victims.He added that the gang was picked up by the police following a tip from some members of the public.He said ''The police operatives in Adani Division in the early hours of Saturday,September 10 nabbed six notorious armed bandits.They have been terrorising the residents of Opanda,Nimbo and Adani communities in Uzo-Uwani LGA of the state and its environs.Suspects,name withheld,are helping the police in their investigations in relations to their alleged nefarious activities.Their activities ranges from armed robbery and burglary among others'''.He further revealed that the command has now begun a manhunt for the remaining members of the gang.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
