 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families. A MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS BOSS IN AJAH LAST MONTH,HAVE BEEN ARRESTED BY THE POLICE.{PHOTO}.


     According to sources,the Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Tanko Abdulateef,a 22 year old house guard who allegedly killed his employer,Mrs Mabel Mba Okafor in Ajah area of Lagos,last month.The suspect was alleged to have killed her boss in Ajah on the 17 of August,2016.The suspect,who was arrested from his hiding in Bali,Taraba State,was said to have stabbed the victim in the stomach and left her stomach ripped open.It was also gathered that the suspect took away valuable items from the victim including three phones,trinket and a lot of cloths,all of which were recovered from him.When contacted,Public Relation Officer of the State Command of the Nigerian Police,Dolapo Badmos confirmed the arrest,adding that the suspect would be charged to court after conclusion of investigation.
