 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. A TEACHER WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE GAVE A STUDENT $4,000 TO BUY WEED.{PHOTO}.

Lindsay Wildcat Academy,supposedly issued the beatdown after the student failed to return the $4,000 that he gave him to buy weed.The student told police that he met with a drug connect in June who wanted $7,000 for a pound of weed.Snice Pope only gave him $4,000 he spent the money and carried on with life.When Pope spotted the student walking near the school on wednesday September 21,he reportedly punched the boy multiple times,before jacking his iPhone,gold chain and wallet.He also threatened to beat the student up again,and rape his mother,accordingg to Assistant District Attorney Gerard Donahue.Meanwhile,Pope's attorney claims the boy actually stole the money from his client's briefcase.Sources further said ''Pope is currently awaiting arraignment on assault and robbery charges''.
