 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Image result for south africa bans america pastor             Pastor Steven Anderson,a United States based pastor has been banned from visiting South Africa over his anti gays views.Anderson,of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona,notoriously welcoomed the gunning down in June of 50 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando,Florida by saying ''there's 50 less paedophiles in this world''.Citing anti-discrimination laws designed to ''prevent and prohibit hate speech''.Home Affairs minister Malusi Gigaba told a media briefing he was banning Anderson indefinitely.South Africa became the first country in Africa to legalise gay marriage in 2006,but homosexuality is still widely frowned upon and same-sex unions are often decried as ''un-African''.Pastor Anderson said he felt sorry for South Africa and the United Kingdom on his facebook page.He wrote ''I have been banned from South Africa and the United Kingdom.I feel sorry for people who live in South Africa,but thank God we still have a wide open door in Botswana''.It was not clear when he was due to visit Botswana.One more photo below.
