 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS SET TO REPAIR ENUGU-ONITSHA EXPRESSWAY.{READ}.

Image result for enugu -onitsha expressway                     Normally,it takes approximately an hour and thirty minutes to drive from Onitsha in Anambra State to Enugu,but presently,it takes more than four hours of torture according to sources to move from one end to the other.The government is considering awarding the reconstruction of the dual carriageway project to a competent construction firm under the Public Private Partnership,PPP,scheme and a reliable source who spoke to its correspondent revealed that the process to give the highway a face lift began at a meeting which recently held in Awka,the Anambra State capital,between the Minister of Works,Power and Housing,Mr Babbatunde Fashola and the Governor of Anambra State Dr Wilie Obiano in Awka.Mr Fashola while expressing concerns over the deplorable state of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway,it was learnt that he decided that Obiano should search for a very competent and reliable construction firm that can see to the rehabilitation works for possible approval.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
