Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.                                                     A Federal High Court sitting in Warri,Delta State has convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonmene one Igofose Oyoma.Ighofose was first arraigned by the EFCC,on 3rd May,2016 on a seven count charge bordering on Conspiracy,Forgery and Obtaining Money by False Pretence to the tune of Nine Thousand Two Hundred United States Dollars {$9,200}.Upon his arraignment,the convict pleaded not guilty to the charge,but later changed his plea to ''guilty''.Justice E.A Obile consequently convicted Ighofose and sentenced him to two years imprisonment with an option of N300,000.00 {three hundred thousand naira} fine to be forfeited to Federal Government.He also ordered that the payment receipt be deposited to the court registry.Ighofose was arrested sometime in May,2015 in Calabar,Cross River State following intelligence report on his involvement in Internet scams.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
