 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.                            This Complaint Response Unit {CRU},is sequel to the viral video in circulation on various social media platforms regarding the alleged shooting to death of a commercial motorcycle rider ''Okada man'' by a policeman in ore,Ondo state.
Facts of the case: On Sunday 4th September,2016 at about 6:00pm along Odigbo-Omifon road within Ore Police Division in Ondo State,Inspr. Anthony Nwadike who led a police patrol team on nipping point along the said road allegedly shot and killed one commercial motorcycle rider {names withheld} following an altercation.The said Inspector has since been arrested and his service riffle recovered.Case is under investigation.The Orderly-Room trial {Department Court} of this arrested Inspector is expected to be concluded today Tuesday 6th September,2016 so as to pave way for his criminal prosecution for Murder in the law court within the next 48hrs.The Commissioner of Police,Ondo State Command has since opened a direct line of communication/contact with the families of the victim and the community.The Ondo State Police Command is also providing necessary palliative to concerned relatives and persons at this period.
