 NAF GETS FIRST-EVER SERVING PROFESSOR, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO R&D AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE In a landmark achievement for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and a major boost to its research and development (R&D) endeavours, the Governing Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike as Professor of Aerospace Engineering. This makes him the first-ever serving officer in the NAF to be conferred the rank of Professor. Air Vice Marshal Ubadike, an accomplished scholar and military professional, holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the esteemed Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also possesses 3 other Masters degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with a First-Class Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering degree from NDA.  Image result for 2016 emmys awards                                                Yesterday sunday i was awake to watch the live red carpet moment and off cos i  snapped some photos from E! and is so amazing how serious and un-serious some actress took the 68 Emmys awards that was held at Los Angeles.While some celebrities used the opportunity to bare their chest.Even Regina King almost fell off the stairs immediately after her interview with Giuliana Rancic as pictured below immediately after the write-up and i was quick to photograph it because everything happened so quick..I heard that Game of Thrones has broken the record for the highest number of Emmy Awards.The show's total number of awards now stands at 38,which means it has beaten Frasier's previous record of 37.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
