 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families. The Ministers explained that the policy prioritises the use of standardised, durable textbooks designed to last between four and six years, while expressly prohibiting the bundling of disposable workbooks with textbooks in schools. SOUND OF MUSIC STAR CHARMIAN CARR ''LIESL'' PAST AWAY AT THE AGE OF 73.{PHOTOS}.#RIP.

     Image result for charmian carr                   According to sources,Charmian Carr,who played Liesl in the film Sound of Music died at the age of 73.She died in Los Angeles on saturday after complications from a rare form of dementia.In her role in the 1965 film where she play the role of the eldest daughter to Captain Von Trapp,she famously performed the song Sixteen Going on Seventeen.After leaving the film industry,Carr ran an interior design firm in California.Her mother had arranged for her to audition for the role,although she had no singing or acting lessons.Carr later wrote two books on her experience ''Forever Liesl and Letters to Liesl'' and she frequently appeared at events commemorating the movie.Her only other major role was in the Stephen Sondheim television musical Evening Primrose.I watched the Sound of Music growing up and I even titled my first music album Sounds of Music just because of this movie and I watch this movie every saturday.May her soul rest in perfect peace,AMEN.more photos below,.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
