 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. A CROCODILE WAS CAPTURED ALIVE YESTERDAY & HAWKED AROUND FOR N50K AT IDEMILI,ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

                                                   Some people in the town of Oraukwu in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State caught this Crocodile in the river between Abatete Town and Oraukwu both in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.Instead of helping the poor creature back to it's habitat,they bound it's mouth and legs and started looking for buyers at the price of N50,000.According to sources ''I thought these creatures were sacred in those towns and killing them is forbidden.If it is true,does the custom allow selling them off?.Secondly,isn't it fair to consider the fact that this is part of the wildlife that makes up the fauna of the area and should be preserved?.Ndi Oraukwu,we need your clarifications on it''.One more photo below.
