  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. Image result for carlos alberto 1970                               Brazil football legend,captain Carlos Alberto died today at the age of 72.He died after suffering a heart attack in Rio de Janeiro.A Santo statement which read ''He played 445 matches and scored 40 goals from 1965-1975,and is considered the  best right-back in the history of Praiano Alvinegro''.The club also announced a mourning period of three days.May his soul rest in peace Amen.More photos below.
