 Orji Uzor Kalu Vows Tinubu Will Win Abia in 2027 Election Former Abia State Governor and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has declared that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in Abia State during the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at an Abia APC stakeholders’ meeting he hosted at his private residence in Abuja on Thursday, Kalu expressed confidence in rebuilding the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to ensure a strong electoral performance. Kalu emphasized unity among party members, urging them to forgive past grievances and work together to strengthen the APC. “There is no faction in APC. I am committed to the rebuilding of the party and the overall unity of the APC in Abia State to support President Bola Tinubu in achieving his Renewed Hope agenda for the good of all Nigerians,” he said.                          According to one of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve,who sent the picture above with the caption ''There was confusion in Delta State yesterday saturday as a wedding reception ended half-way,following the bride's pronouncement that she was no longer interested in the few-hours-old marriage.The bride,who ran away from the reception venue,was given hot chase by the husband.The incident,which occurred at Udu LGA of Delta State,created serious scene in the area.At the popular Orhunwhorhun road,the husband was seen begging the bride to reconsider her decision.The incident attracted a large crowd,as well as members of their families,in a frantic effort to settle the matter''.For now we don't know why she is rejecting her groom,i hope she was not under a spell,but immediately after the marriage i eyes clear Mmmm.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
