 Oko Poly AgricTech Lecturers Commend Rector Over Good Leadership  By Obianuju Azukaego  The Lecturers of Agricultural Technology Department, Federal Polytechnic Oko, have commended the Rector of the institution, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, for her exemplary leadership and ongoing developmental strides in the school. The Head of the Department, Dr. Jane Mmaduka said this when she led her delegation to pay a courtesy visit to the Rector on July 31. She expressed gratitude to the Rector for her unwavering support, particularly her role in the successful accreditation of the department's National Diploma (ND) programme. She also briefed the Rector on preparations for the forthcoming resource inspection of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme and appealed for the continued support of the Polytechnic Management to ensure a successful exercise. EFCC IMPERSONATOR IN GOMBE WAS RECENTLY SENTENCED TO 14 YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

Image result for efcc                        A man,who falsely presented himself as a staff of the EFCC,in Gombe state has been sentenced to fourteen years in prison by the High Court of Justice Gombe State.The EFCC haf charged the convict,Muhammad A. Adamu,for impersonation when he claimed to be a staff of the Commission to the Executive Secretary of Gombe Muslim Pilgrim's Welfare Board in order to extort money and other benefits from the board.He told the Secretary that the latter was under investigation by the Commission,presented a list of false officials of the Gombe zonal office and demanded unspecified amount to induce the officials,the Secretary claimed in his petition to the Commission's office in May 2015.Other charges include attempt to commit an offence under the Advance Fee Fraud that attracts a penalty of four years in prison without option of fine,being in possession of forged documents a offence under the penal code and also attracts both fine and imprisonment.The judge also ordered that the convict pay a restitution of N45,000 {forty-five thousand naira} to one Musa Haruna being the sum the convict falsely collected from him and a fine of N50,000.00 {fidty thousand naira} respectively.Barrister S.M.Aliyu prosecuted the case for the Commission''.
