 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. EFCC IMPERSONATOR IN GOMBE WAS RECENTLY SENTENCED TO 14 YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

Image result for efcc                        A man,who falsely presented himself as a staff of the EFCC,in Gombe state has been sentenced to fourteen years in prison by the High Court of Justice Gombe State.The EFCC haf charged the convict,Muhammad A. Adamu,for impersonation when he claimed to be a staff of the Commission to the Executive Secretary of Gombe Muslim Pilgrim's Welfare Board in order to extort money and other benefits from the board.He told the Secretary that the latter was under investigation by the Commission,presented a list of false officials of the Gombe zonal office and demanded unspecified amount to induce the officials,the Secretary claimed in his petition to the Commission's office in May 2015.Other charges include attempt to commit an offence under the Advance Fee Fraud that attracts a penalty of four years in prison without option of fine,being in possession of forged documents a offence under the penal code and also attracts both fine and imprisonment.The judge also ordered that the convict pay a restitution of N45,000 {forty-five thousand naira} to one Musa Haruna being the sum the convict falsely collected from him and a fine of N50,000.00 {fidty thousand naira} respectively.Barrister S.M.Aliyu prosecuted the case for the Commission''.
