 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. Image result for shailene woodley in jail                             According to sources,Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley is to stand trial in North Dakota early next year on charges related to her protest against the Dakota Access pipeline.Shailene Woodley was among the 27 activists arrested on October 10,2016 pleaded not guilty last week to criminal trespass and engaging in a riot.Court documents show Woodley's trial is scheduled January 25,2017 in the state court of Mandan.She could face two months in jail and $3,000 in fines if convicted of the two misdemeanors.The Standing Rock Sioux want construction of the $3.8 billion pipeline halted,saying it could taint water supplies and encroach on tribal burial sites.More photos below.
