 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Image result for buhari                                        Buhari made the call today thursday at the 7th National Prayer Breakfast organised by National Assembly in Abuja with the theme ''A tree and its fruits: is yours a blessing or a curse to Nigeria''.The president was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to Government of the Federation,Mr Babachir Lawal.Buhari assured Nigerians that the recession would end very soon as the government is doing all within its power to restore the economy of the country.He said ''As Christians and political leaders,we must strive to be the light of the world by speaking positively concerning the state of the nation.These hard times we are in,require leaders have forgotten to look at the positive side of issues and the opportunity it presents for the good of all.I have total faith that Nigeria will emerge from this crisis strong,united and prosperous,this will come to fruition in the lifetime of this government.Also as Christians and leaders we should all thank God for the opportunity to be key player in this time of economic meltdown,'' Lawal admonished.
