 EFCC  Moves to  Re-arraign National Assembly Directors for Alleged N337m Fraud   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  on Monday June 8, 2026 sought to re-arraign the trio of Aishatu Bappa El-Nafaty, Mamud Alhaji Abubakar and Igba Ityoakura Joseph before Justice Muhammed Zubairu of the Federal Capital Territory, High Court, Jikwoyi, Abuja for fraud.   The first defendant, El-Nafaty is the Director, Public Affairs Department in the Directorate of Special Duties and Parliamentary Security, National Assembly, Abubakar, the second defendant is a former Permanent Secretary in the Services of the National Assembly, while the third defendant, Joseph is a Deputy Director of Procurement in the National Assembly. NIGERIA TROOPS FOIL ANOTHER SUICIDE BOMB ATTEMPT TODAY ON BAKASSI IDP CAMP MAIDUGURI.{PHOTOS}.

                                                At about 9.00am this morning,troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE deployed behind Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons {IDP} camp,intercepted and killed a male suicide bomber who had attempted to sneak through the troops inner parapet towards the IDP camp.The vigilant sentry sighted the bomber and laid in wait until the suicide bomber came close.The sniper instantlt shot and killed the terrorists as he tried to force his way to the western flank of the IDP camp fence.Unfortunately,the Improvised Explosive Device {IED} vest strapped on the bomber failed to detonate.Consequently,a combined team of military and police Explosive Ordinance Device {EOD} have been called to safely detonate the IED.The situation at the camp and the general area is calm.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
