 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.                       Although the abuse was palpable...President Buhari's choice to remove the first lady's office when he was sworn in was more a reflection of his ideology about women and their place than about curbing the excesses of the office of the First Lady.Truly sad about what he said regarding his wife's place to an international audience especially while standing before a powerful woman like Angela Merkel.The comments takes us back centuries but many Nigerian woman are now too far advanced to be held back by this flawed ideology about a woman's place.While we respect the president as Nigeria's leader,he can't tell us or our daughters where we belong.Let him tell that to those over whom He has control.We women are Riding!
