COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action. Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice. The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Although the abuse was palpable...President Buhari's choice to remove the first lady's office when he was sworn in was more a reflection of his ideology about women and their place than about curbing the excesses of the office of the First Lady.Truly sad about what he said regarding his wife's place to an international audience especially while standing before a powerful woman like Angela Merkel.The comments takes us back centuries but many Nigerian woman are now too far advanced to be held back by this flawed ideology about a woman's place.While we respect the president as Nigeria's leader,he can't tell us or our daughters where we belong.Let him tell that to those over whom He has control.We women are Riding!
