 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. A F.H.C JUDGE & A SAN,TO REMAIN IN EFCC CUSTODY FOR 14 DAYS-COURT RULES TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

                 Lagos Magistrate Court today,November 10, 2016 ,granted the EFCC a remand order to keep Godwin Obia,SAN,and Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court in custody for 14 days.Justice Ofili Ajumogobia is being investigated by the EFCC for allegedly receiving a N5 million bribe from Obla,SAN.Ofili Ajumogobia who has been under the watch of the EFCC over alleged ostentatious living was earlier in the year barred by the National Judicial Council {NJC} from getting any promotion for the remainder of her career.More  photos below.
